Strategy from both sides.
Linkki is built around two strategy disciplines: knowledge design and systems design. Both are led by senior practitioners. Both shape the system before anyone starts building it.
Knowledge design works out what the system needs to know, how it should speak, and what it needs to do. Systems design works out how all that gets structured, retrieved, and delivered.
The leadership team.
Michael Easton
Co-Founder, Strategist: Knowledge design.
Michael has spent thirty years in strategy and communications, working with government, enterprise, and professional services clients across New Zealand and beyond. His background combines brand strategy, content architecture, and behavioural design, applied to the question of how businesses make their existing knowledge work harder. At Linkki, he runs elicitation, content architecture, and the brand-voice layer of every BrandRAG engagement.
Pekka Malkamäki
Co-Founder, Strategist: Systems design.
Pekka has spent his career in charge of teams building digital platforms and the various infrastructures that make them work. His background spans web platform engineering, user experience design, and workflow optimisation across complex commercial systems. At Linkki, he leads the technical design of every BrandRAG engagement, from retrieval logic and ingestion pipelines through to deployment and monitoring. He’s in charge of the team who manages and optimises each system on an ongoing basis.
How we work.
Every Linkki engagement begins with a conversation, not a proposal. We look at what the business knows, where the value is, and what’s the right approach to solve the challenge.
The work itself runs in three phases: strategic review, architecture, and engineering. Each phase has clear deliverables, a defined timeline, and a moment where the client signs off before the next phase starts. By the time we’re building, the client knows what they’re getting and why.
After delivery, we stay close. We handle ongoing maintenance, content updates, and adjustments as the business evolves.
Strategic review.
Capture what the business knows.
Architecture.
Structure and prioritise the knowledge.
Engineering.
Build the system on solid foundations.
